Waimea Canyon, Kauai, Hawaii (Aerial View)

Waimea Canyon – "the Grand Canyon of the Pacific" – is a mile wide, 10 miles long, and 3,500 feet deep. The canyon is located on the west side of the Hawaiian island of Kauai and was carved over tens of thousands of years by tremendous run-off from Mount Waialeale, the wettest spot on Earth.
