Mount Hood Alpenglow
Mount Hood, lit only by alpenglow well after sunset, glows bright white in this view from near Lolo Pass. The 11,240-foot volcano has been quite active over the past 250 years, generating pyroclastic flows, lahars and ash eruptions.
