Several peaks in the Sierra Nevada mountain range are framed by a window in a pile of boulders near Lone Pine, California. Among the peaks in this natural window are Lone Pine Peak, the prominent peak in the left half of the frame, and Mount Whitney,  the highest peak in the continental United States, at the far right.
