The summit of Owlshead
Mountain, at 1,958 feet, provides a commanding view of the
Groton State Forest in Vermont. Kettle Pond, surrounded by fall
color, is also visible. Vermont has a different, yet similarly
named Owls Head Mountain, which is located near the
Massachusetts border. |
