Poison Oak

Poison Oak (Rhus diversiloba)

Poison Oak (Rhus diversiloba) can appear as a bush, tree or vine and is known to cause a painful rash in people who come into contact with it. Its leaves are divided into three leaflets but it is still difficult to identify, prompting the California State Parks to put up this helpful sign in Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park.
