A bright fogbow frames several tress
growing on a bluff high above the Missouri River between Poplar
and Brockton, Montana. Fogbows are formed much like rainbows,
except the bands of colors overlap, resulting in what appears to
be a largely white band. (A faint red band is visible on the
outer edge; blue, inside.) The full moon is also visible in the
inner band, just above the golden tree. |
