Fanleaf Cinquefoil (Potentilla flabellifolia)
 

Fanleaf Cinquefoil (Potentilla flabellifolia) bloom on Hurricane Ridge in Olympic National Park, Washington. The flower, which has five petals, gets part of its common name from the French word for the number five, which is "cinq." (More Olympic National Park images.)
