A torrent of water rages over Snoqualmie Falls after four days of almost constant rain in November, 2006. The billowing spray blocks the view of the base of the falls. At the time this image was taken, the flow of the river was 48,000 cubic feet per second — more than 150 times a typical flow for this time of year and double the flow for most major storms.
