An adult male pronghorn antelope (Antilocapra americana), followed closely by a young antelope, runs across a grassy prairie in eastern Wyoming. Pronghorn antelope are found only in North America and can reach speeds of 60 miles per hour, making them the second-fastest mammals on earth, behind only the cheetah.
