Male Magnificent Frigatebird, Flying

Magnificent Frigatebird, male, in Flight (Fregata minor)
 

A male magnificent frigatebird (Fregata magnificens) flies over the Pacific Ocean near Sayulita, Mexico. During breeding season, male magnificent frigatebirds have a bright red throat pouch, known as a gular sac. The large bird has a wingspan of seven feet (two meters).
