Moose (Alces alces)

A moose (Alces alces) munches on plants on the forest floor near Maligne Lake, Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada. Moose are the largest members of the deer family and typically eat more than nine pounds of vegetation a day -- the equivalent of more than 20,000 leaves. (More Jasper National Park images.)
