A Mountain Goat (Oreamnos americanus) feeds on vegetation near Hidden Lake in Glacier National Park, Montana. Mountain goats are more commonly found on the rocky slopes surrounding the lake; their hooves have strong, sharp outer edges and firm, rubbery soles for climbing.  (More Glacier National Park images.)
